What Turtléar do?

EJ Raymond has founded Turtléar since 2015, to reach the deaf community for the general informations, jobs offered from any companies, accessible events and deaf models.

Our aim is to support and encourage deaf and hearing people to participate further in theatre, film, acting, writing, presenting and also various of wide general that are not part in the arts world. And to work altogether without barriers.

Our focus is to develop the skills of both deaf and hearing people in the arts and to create opportunities for them to develop their full potential as artists or anything they want to achieve their goal.

We also want to improve the experience of the deaf community as audience members, and we create accessible marketing materials in BSL.

We want to ensure deaf community feels so confident without barriers. We also will to update with any jobs opportunities from any companies; BSL events, captioned events or deaf events; show the example of excellent deaf models; useful websites etc to sharing or anything to get your attention!

And also to hearing people to gives themselves a chance to learn how to work with deaf actors, crews etc, to give them opportunities to offer deaf artists to work with them in the future without get any problems!
